We are upgrading the Center! It's been a long time coming. There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around at the pictures of progress and change. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line.
We are committed to the community: helping to fill the gap with a youth focused family friendly community center. We have made a personal financial commitment to support the efforts of Shepherd's House by funding the first phase of the renovation. We are seeking any support you can give as an individual or business.
Our neighbors in NC were affected by the devastation of Hurrican Helene. We answered the call to support recovery by donating a trunk load of baby supplies to the Fire Department Relief Drive
in Charlotte NC.
We partnered with the Tuscan Masonic Lodge for the Maple Heights Community Day featuring Back to School and Health Fair held July 27, 2024, at the Masonic Hall in Monroe. SH made a donation to help provide back to school bookbags and supplies for this fun event!
We are active advocates for our program participants who may be faced with action from the criminal justice system. We work with the legal system and try to assist the family to achieve a favorable outcome. Our mission is to provide essential resources and support.
At Shepherd's House Inc, we strive to uplift the lives of individuals. We continue to offer small jobs to teen youth to help clean up and pick up trash abound the Center property to foster pride, self-sufficiency and hope.
We are volunteers with the Annual City of Monroe Ga Community Clean Up Day, held in April 2024.
The Team Leader for our Pine Park neighborhood clean-up effort was Adriane Brown, Monroe City Council District 5.
A small but determined team worked together to clear out debris and pick up 10 bags of trash near the SH Center and around the neighborhood. A very good day!
